We woke up pretty early today, around 6:00 AM, so we could get downstairs by 6:30 and grab a drink from the hotel, which we'd asked for. After that, we put all our bags into the van and started the three-hour drive to Siem Reap. The drive was pretty long, but we took a toilet break halfway through, where we could also grab some snacks. I got some Pringles, which were actually pretty good and definitely seemed bigger than the ones in Australia.

When we got to Siem Reap, we were too early to check into our hotel, so we went out and explored the area for a bit. We walked around some of the stores and found a few good places to shop. After that, we stopped for lunch, and I got Cambodian Lok Lak, which was really good.

Later on, we went on a separate excursion where we got to see and hold a bomb rat. It was definitely something different and pretty cool to experience. When we got back, we finally checked into our hotel. The hotel was really nice, and our rooms were great. We then had dinner and went to the night market for about an hour, looking around at all the different shops and things there.

Once we got back to the hotel, we went for a swim in the really nice pool and just relaxed for the rest of the night. After a long day of travelling and exploring Siem Reap, it was nice just to chill out and enjoy the hotel.
